Guerrillas of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) in the Zagros Mountain range, where currently intense clashes are taking place and daily actions are carried out by the guerrillas, spoke to the ANF.

Zagros Med: We usually use heavy weapons. As for now, we have aimed our mortars at an enemy target. We are only waiting for an opportunity to intervene at the spot. Many advantages present themselves to us in this region. For instance, our positions or emplacements are not known, not fixed. But the enemy's outposts and hills it holds are very evident. We constantly follow the enemy and take positions ready to start. Despite all the technologies of the enemy, they are no match for us.

Sara Ararat: We know how to protect ourselves from their technologies. They are only destroying the nature and harming living beings in the wild. This border land is burning almost every day.

Baran Digor: The Kurdistan Freedom Movement is struggling today against the AKP fascism together with its people, nature and guerrilla, as it always did throughout history. Even Kurdistan's nature itself is defying the fascism and is growing back. The enemy shall know this very well, we will not give them a pleasant stay on this soil and land of ours.
