The press centre of the People's Defence Forces (HPG) reported in its daily overview of the war in Kurdistan that fighters of the Free Women's Troops (YJA Star) hit the Turkish occupation forces in the Xakurke region with heavy weapons on Wednesday. The action took place as part of the guerrilla offensive "Bazên Zagrosê" (Zagros Falcons) at 2 pm in the Girê Şehîd Axîn resistance area.
HPG also reported that the resistance areas Girê Cûdî, Girê FM and Girê Amêdî as well as guerrilla positions in Çemço and near the village of Sîda in the Zap region were attacked by the Turkish army with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons in the past days.
