Guerrillas of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) spoke about the Turkish state's military assault on Medya Defense Zones. The guerrilla fighters said, “We will make the enemy regret setting foot on Kurdistan land.”
The invasion attacks of the Turkish army against southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) continue. HPG guerrillas are confronting the attacks with a revolutionary offensive called Bazên Zagrosê (Hawks of Zagros). HPG guerrilla fighters Dilgêş Başkale and Akîf Arîn made evaluations about the Bazên Zagrosê counteroffensive.
HPG guerrilla Dilgêş Başkale stated that they wanted to strike a blow against the Turkish state; “With this offensive, we want to make the enemy regret setting foot on the land of Kurdistan. All our friends are focusing on this. I believe that we will deal a huge blow to the enemy.”
HPG guerrilla Akif Arîn said that they aimed to defeat the Turkish army in the region of Zap.
“I greet all friends who take part in the resistance. This year will be the final year of the war between us and the enemy. As the Kurdistan guerrilla, we will respond to the expectations of the people. We will end the aggravated isolation on Imralı and build a free life for our leader Abdullah Öcalan,” Arîn said.
