People's United Revolutionary Movement (HBDH) has claimed responsibility for yesterday's action in Ovacık district of Dersim.

The Joint Command of the HBDH reported that 4 members of special operations forces were killed and many others were injured as a result of the expansive sabotage action that was conducted at 15:30 yesterday, which targeted the lodging buildings where judicial personnel and special operations police reside in Dersim's Ovacık district.

HBDH stated that the action was carried out in response to the increasing Turkish fascism and in memory of Baran Dersim and his comrades martyred in Ovacık.
