The Kurdistan Militia of the HBDH (Peoples’ United Revolutionary Movement) announced that they will expand "We Will Destroy Fascism, We Will Win Freedom" revolutionary campaign in North Kurdistan and retaliate for the loss of Martyr Sinan Dersim.

Sinan Dersim (Dalokay Şanlı), a member of HPG (People’s Defense Forces) Command Council and HBDH Executive Committee, was martyred on October 27, 2020, as a result of an airstrike by the Turkish state in the Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

The written statement by HBDH Kurdistan Militia said the following:

“We are launching a revolutionary vengeance campaign for Martyr Sinan Dersim against the barbarism of the fascist Turkish state. After each defeat, the genocidal fascist Turkish state begins a massacre campaign against our peoples and comrades.

Erdogan’s dictatorial regime and Turkish fascism, motivated by massacres and genocides, are facing an inevitable defeat in the face of our struggle for freedom. Trying to cover its fear up with technical superiority,Turkish fascism is continuously bombing free areas.

Comrade Sinan Dersim, a member of the HPG Command Council and the HBDH Executive Board, was martyred in a vicious attack on 27 October 2020. Comrade Sinan Dersim, who devoted his whole life to the struggle against fascism, calls us to duty.

Our comrades who have been carrying out a hunger strike for about 150 days, young women who have been harassed and raped by the tools of fascism, mothers brutally beaten, our comrades who were denied funerals, our young people who have been abducted, tortured, our destroyed nature, our soils, the resistance and struggle of Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is the will of the people, show us how vital and historic the path and legacy of Comrade Sinan are. We invite all our forces, our comrades, our peoples, all voices that do not want to be silenced in the darkness of fascism to the common resistance.”
