Peoples' United Revolutionary Movement (HBDH) Joint Command said in a written statement that their militants carried out an action targeting the Pakire outpost in Hozat district of Dersim at 08:00 on August 1.

Three soldiers in the outpost were targeted and killed in the action by HBDH militants, after which Turkish army transported the casualties with Sikorsky helicopters and bombed the surrounding areas with heavy weapons.

Turkish soldiers also raked a civilian car on move in the area, which left one civilian dead.

HBDH said this action was conducted in memory of the two militants, Sinan and Rıca, who fell martyr on May 6.

HBDH added that Dersim-Ovacık road remains under their control since July 15.
