HDP deputies have started sit-in at the office of Amed governor who didn't answer their demand for the lifting of the curfew in the central Sur district.

HPD Amed MPs Feleknas Uca, Sibel Yiğitalp and Gülşen Özer have filed a criminal complaint to Diyarbakır Courthouse against the ongoing curfew in Sur district. Deputies later went to the governor's office where they once again highlighted their demand for an end to this unlawful practice.

Feleknas Uca stated that the governor has not said anything to them about the matter yet, because of which they have started sit-in inside the governor's office which they will not end until getting a favorable answer.

Uca emphasised that the police blockade and curfew in Sur was ordered by Ankara, and that the governor should step in and take action to lift the curfew.
