HDP Party Assembly member detained in Mardin

The reason for the arrest of HDP executive was not disclosed.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Party Assembly member Ercan Oğuz has been taken into custody in Kızıltepe district of Mardin.

Oğuz was arrested by plainclothes policemen while leaving the HDP district association on Friday.  It was not disclosed why he was detained.

Oğuz was taken to Kızıltepe District Police Directorate.
