HDP District Co-chair Mesut Paksoy was detained in a special operations house raid in Şırnak’s Uludere district yesterday. He was then transferred to the prosecutor’s office after the procedures in the District Police Headquarters.

The prosecutor sent Paksoy to the court demanding his arrest on charges of “membership to a terrorist organisation” and “terrorist propaganda” and Paksoy was arrested on these charges.

Paksoy was transferred to the Şırnak Type T Prison.
