Special operation police teams have conducted raids in several houses in Varto district of Muş today.

HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) district branch co-chair Halide Aktay and two other people were detained in the raid operation.

While the reason for the detentions was not immediately clear, the three were taken to district police headquarters.
