Heavy clashes have erupted between YPS/YPS-Jin and state forces that launched an attack on Bahçelievler, Dicle and Yeni neighborhoods of Şırnak province today.

Turkish forces' attacks with heavy arms were immediately responded by Civilian Defense Units YPS/YPS-Jin, which resulted in intense clashes that continue ceaselessly since 11:00 local time.

A child by the name of Zehra Çevik got wounded in a foot amid ongoing clashes, and was taken to Şırnak State Hospital.

Civilian M. Sıdık Tekmen, in his 30's, was heavily wounded after getting shot by a bullet in the head during the attacks by Turkish forces. Tekman has been taken under treatment at Şırnak State Hospital where two policemen are also hospitalized after suffering injuries during the fighting.
