Violent clashes between the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla and the invading Turkish army are taking place on the Mamreşo Hill in Avashin, in the Medya Defense Areas.

It has been reported that a large number of Turkish soldiers were killed in the fighting.

Clashes are continuing.
