Attacks by state forces are getting heavier in Şırnak's Cizre district where a state of siege under the name of curfew continues for 10 days.

Armored vehicles deployed on Midyat road opened cross fire on Turgut Özal neighborhood yesterday noon, since when the aggression is going on ceaselessly.

Turkish forces attempted to infiltrate into the neighborhood from this area but faced resistance and strong response by Civilian Defense Units YPS and YPS-Jin, which resulted in fierce clashes.

On the other hand, the town is witnessing a mobilization of military vehicles amid an intense activity of drones.
