Turkish troops continue their invasion attacks against guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in Southern Kurdistan, Northern Iraq.
According to information obtained from local sources, the Turkish army airdropped soldiers in the area of Mervanos in Avashin region. Ensuing heavy fighting in the area is continuing.
Reports say that clashes intensify on the hills of Martyr Serdar and Martyr Dilgeş as the Turkish troops are reported to have suffered casualties.
Local sources also report that the Turkish invasion operation has been expanded into the areas of Martyr Zerin, Martyr Bekes and Piramit hills in the Avashin region.
