Following the 79-day long genocidal attacks in Şırnak’s Cizre district, 3 crawler diggers entered Nur neighborhood accompanied by 4 armored vehicles in the morning hours in line with the “urgent expropriation” decree taken by the district governorate for the thousands of buildings damaged by artillery fire. The diggers started demolishing houses in Kolami Street near the flour factory in the neighborhood.

The demolitions continue despite the resident families protesting.
