HPG Press Office reported in a written statement that Turkish army continued its efforts to target the people in Kurdistan in the most violent ways, and to target and massacre civilians under the name of military operations.

According to the HPG statement, Turkish army launched an operation in Apê Musa area in Amed's Lice district on December 5.

Turkish soldiers opened fire on a civilian car near Speynik village at 14:30 on December 6, which left one of the two civilians in the car dead and the other wounded. The wounded civilian was later subject to severe torture.

During the evening hours, the operation was expanded and airstrikes started in the area at 18:10.

HPG reported that a group of guerrillas were martyred as a result of clashes and airstrikes in this area, and that their ID details will be announced once clarified.

On the other hand -HPG reported- Turkish fighter jets shelled Deşta Kafya and Çırav hamlets in Garê area of Medya Defense Zones in Southern Kurdistan territory at the night of December 9.

HPG recalled that guerrillas carried out a series of actions targeting several hills, positions and convoys of the Turkish military in Uludere district of Şırnak between 10-15 August, noting that 3 guerrillas who got wounded during this period of clashes later lost their lives.
