HPG (People's Defense Forces) Media Centre released a statement providing details regarding the ongoing actions by guerrillas in North Kurdistan.
Accordingly, guerrillas carried out two separate actions against the Ronahi hill in the Şemdinli district of Hakkari at 19.40 on April 13.
The first action arm led into the hill and hit positions with RPG-7 rocket launchers, individual weapons and hand bombs. The second action arm also hit positions on the hill with RPG-7 rocket launchers and individual weapons effectively and intensively.
In addition, strikes by guerrillas' assassination teams left 3 soldiers dead here, while guerrillas also the positions on the hill with heavy weapons.
HPG said a total of 9 soldiers were killed when 7 positions were destroyed along with one A-4 heavy weaponry position. In the clashes, one guerrilla fell a martyr whilst putting up a heroic fight, whose ID details will be announced later on.
HPG reported that the operation that the Turkish army launched in the area of Sise in Amed's Lice district on April 13 continues.
In another action at 08:00 am on April 10, guerrillas hit the soldiers at Tim Hill in Amed's Dicle district, as result of which one soldier was killed and another was wounded.
At 18:00 on April 1, guerrillas carried out a sabotage which targeted the soldiers moving near the Angol outpost on the Amed and Bingöl highway, and two soldiers were wounded here.
HPG gave the following ID information of a guerrilla who was injured as a result of airstrikes carried out by the Turkish army against Medya Defense Zones in August 2016, and has lost his life despite all the medical efforts made to save him:
