HPG Press Office reported that 10 villagers were killed as result of Turkish airstrikes on Southern Kurdistan land.
HPG (People’s Defense Forces) Press Office released a statement providing information about the Turkish airstrikes that claimed the lives of 10 local people in Southern Kurdistan.
The statement said that:
“On September 19, warplanes belonging to occupying forces bombed the local people engaged in garden and vineyard works and 10 civilians lost their lives. On September 20, the occupying Turkish army directly targeted civilians by carrying out air attacks on civilian settlements.
Within this scope, Turkish warplanes bombed;
Şamkê village and its surroundings in Zap region at 22.45,
Mervanos area, Martyr Diren hill and Kiyê village in Avashin region at 22.30,
Hakkari hill in the Metina area from 22.00 to 23.00 hours.
As a result of the bombardments, vineyards and gardens in the villages were damaged.”
