HPG: 3 Turkish soldiers killed, 2 drones damaged

HPG Press Centre reported that 3 soldiers of the Turkish army were killed and 2 of their drones were damaged during the actions carried out by the mobile guerrilla teams. The Turkish army continues to commit war crimes by using chemical weapons.

“The actions carried out by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in the spirit of July 14 Resistance are continuing. As a result of the latest actions carried out by our mobile guerrilla teams, 3 Turkish soldiers were killed, and 2 drones of the Turkish army were struck and damaged. The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas 16 times with chemical weapons and explosives, 23 times with fighter jets, 6 times with attack helicopters, and dozens of times with howitzers and mortars,” HPG Press Centre said in a statement on Tuesday.

The details of the actions by guerrillas and attacks by the Turkish army in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) are as follows:

“As part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign:

On July 11, at 05:30, 2 drones of the Turkish army were hit and damaged by our forces in the Zap region.

As part of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr Savaş Maraş Revolutionary Campaign:

On July 11, at 17:30, Turkish soldiers in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted by YJA Star mobile teams using assassination tactics. A military tent was targeted and 2 of them inside were killed.

On July 12, at 05:00, Turkish soldiers in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were shot by guerrilla snipers and one of them was killed.”
