HPG: 6 soldiers killed, 21 others injured in Kulp

HPG Media Center announced that 6 soldiers died and 21 got injured during a sabotage action against Zeyrek outpost in Amed’s Kulp district.

HPG (People's Defense Forces) Media Center issued a written statement and announced that 12 soldiers were killed as a result of guerilla actions in Amed, Şırnak and Dersim. HPG stated that 6 soldiers died and 21, 5 of whom are village guards, got injured during a sabotage action against Zeyrek outpost in Amed’s Kulp district.

In its statement, the Media Center of HPG said that guerilla forces carried out a sabotage action with a car bomb targeting the Zeyrek outpost in Amed’s Kulp district on May 29, and half of the outpost was destroyed during the explosion. HPG stated that 6 soldiers died and 21, 5 of whom are village guards, got injured during a action.

The Media Center said that guerillas carried out an action against the Gabar Regiment in Şırnak’s Gabar region at 14:30 on May 30, as a result of which 2 soldiers died. HPG guerillas also carried out an assassination action against Tatpik outpost in Dersim at 16:00 on May 30, and 1 soldier died in this action.

SABOTAGE ACTION AGAINST OIL WELL IN ADIYAMAN

HPG Media Center announced that guerillas destroyed an oil well during a sabotage action in the Tirüz village of Adıyaman at 23:45 on May 29. Guerillas also carried out an action against Turkish soldiers constructing a road between the Yekmal and Sinek outposts of Şırnak’s Uludere district at 11:20 on May 29, which left 1 soldier dead and 1 digger damaged.

Guerillas carried out another action targeting soldiers stationed in the area between the Yekmal and Sinek outposts of Şırnak’s Uludere district at 08:00 on May 30, and 2 soldiers were killed and 1 tractor was damaged during the action.

Lastly, HPG stated that Turkish soldiers launched an operation in the Zozanê Taşkesen, Hill Şehit, Gırê Nêriya, Gırê Dıl and Xarıke areas of Ağrı’s Tendürek region, and bombarded these areas between 14:00 and 15:00 as well as 20:00 and 21:00 on May 26.
