The HPG Press Centre has released a statement on Saturday detailing actions carried out within the scope of the Martyr Delal Amed and Besta Martyrs Revolutionary Campaign.
Here is the full statement:
"On June 1, at 17.30, our forces carried out an action against a Reo-type military vehicle in the Esendere area of Hakkari province.
The vehicle which was hit effectively on two arms has been completely destroyed, and three enemy soldiers were identified killed here.
An individual named Haydar Çelik, who has been cooperating with the occupying Turkish army and conducting contra activities, and playing a role in the martyrdom of our comrades, was punished by our forces in the centre of Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district on May 31, around 21.30 hours.
The occupying Turkish army’s disguised unit has been positioning near the Xacek village in Amed’s Piran (Dicle) district for a long time. Our forces have put under surveillance this disguised unit for some time and has conducted a sabotage action against this enemy unit at 04.00 hours on June 1st. Two enemy soldiers were killed in this action.
Following the action, the invading forces launched an operation in the area. On the same day, our forces carried out a sabotage action against an armoured vehicle in the operation, and this vehicle was effectively and heavily hit.
Two enemy soldiers were killed in this action, and many soldiers were wounded."
