HPG and YJA Star guerillas launched a new revolutionary operation near Koordine Hill at Zagros mountains, and promised to inflict heavy blows against the Turkish army.

HPG and YJA Star guerillas launched a new revolutionary operation called ‘Martyr Serdar, Martyr Ekîn Revolutionary Operation’ near Koordine Hill at Zagros mountains. The guerillas described the initiative as a revenge operation and promised to inflict heavy blows against the Turkish army.

'WE WILL UNLEASH OUR HATRED UPON THE ENEMY'

HPG guerilla Sipan Kato, who is participating in the revolutionary operation, recalled that the Turkish army aimed to eliminate the guerillas with its Zap operation and suffered many casualties as its entered some hills near Zap. Kato said that 37 soldiers were killed during the guerillas’ recent revenge operation near Koordine hill, and showed that ruling over the mountains of Kurdistan is not easy. Kato called upon the people of Colemêrg to play its role, reject the existence of enemy soldiers on its land, and support the resistance of the guerillas against power and cruelty.

'WE WILL FIGHT UNTIL THE LAST DROP OF OUR BLOOD'

HPG fighter Egît Tekoşer stated that the Turkish army did not learn any lessons from its 2008 Zap operation, and described the ‘Martyr Serdar, Martyr Ekîn Revolutionary Operation’ as a continuation of Zap resistance. Tekoşer said that with this operation, the guerillas want to avenge the martyrs of Zap and fight until the last drop of their blood.

'OUR GOAL IS TO AVENGE FALLEN COMRADES'

YJA Star fighter Ronahî Mêrdîn is another participant of the revolutionary operation near Koordine hill, and said that victory is close for the guerillas. Mêrdin noted that she has participated in several operations so far, and carries the hatred and anger of these initiatives into the ‘Martyr Serdar, Martyr Ekîn Revolutionary Operation.’ Mêrdîn said that she and her comrades would gain victory and avenge their fallen comrades, and eventually end the isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
