The birthday of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan is on 4 April. The important day is being celebrated in Kurdistan and in many other places of the world, as well as in areas where HPG and YJA Star guerrillas are located.

Expressing their feelings and thoughts about 4 April during a special event they organized, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas said that they wish to achieve the freedom of the Kurdish People's Leader in 2023.

The guerrillas participating in the celebration planted saplings wishing for the Kurdish People's Leader's freedom and a free future. The guerrillas, who often chanted "Bijî Rêber Apo" and "Jin, jiyan, azadi", ended the celebration by dancing halay.
