HPG: Bombardments by Turkish army against guerrilla areas continue

People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office has reported in today’s written statement that aerial activities of Turkish aircraft continue over guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones. While Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles carried out intense reconnaissance flights over Metina, Gare, Zap, Xakurkê areas of Medya Defense Zones, Turkish troops shelled Sisê area of Lice district of Amed on October 12.
HPG provided the following details regarding the reconnaissance flights over the following guerrilla areas;
-Metina area at between 08.00 - 09.00 on October 12
-Garê area at between 19.00 - 23.00 on October 12
-Zap region at between 06:00 on October 12 and 02:00 on October 13
-Xakurkê area at between 21:00 on October 12 and 05:30 on October 13.
HPG listed the following flights of Turkish jets over the following guerrilla areas;
-Metina area at between 22.00 - 22.30 on October 12
-Avashin area at between 17:00 on October 12 and 05:30 on October 13.
HPG went on reporting the bombardments launched with mortars, howitzers and tanks from Turkish military posts at the borders of Medya Defense Zones. Accordingly;
- Mamreş military post at Avashin border shelled Hill Ronahi and Mergê area at 17:30 and at between 21.00 - 00.00 on October 12.
- Bezelê military post shelled Hill Sor and Herki village at 05:30 on October 13.
- Oremar military post shelled Martyr Gafur and Martyr Faraşin areas at between 05.30 - 06.00 on October 13.
- Bilican military post at Zap border shelled Dola Kinyaniş area at between 06.00 - 07.00 on October 13.
HPG lastly reported that Turkish troops also shelled Sisê area of Lice district of Amed with mortars, howitzers and tanks at between 22.00 - 23.00 on October 12.
