HPG commander and martyrs fallen in Turkish attack laid to rest

Guerrilla commander Sait Tanıt (Bedran Cudi), his son Mehmet Tanıt and militias Murat Atak (Zeki), Osman Arzu and Abdulkerim Izer who lost their lives in the Turkish army attack on the rural areas of Amadiya on April 22 have been laid to rest in Makhmur yesterday.
The bodies of the deceased were brought to the Martyr Rüstem Cudi Camp yesterday morning. HPG Makhmur-Kirkuk state commander Bawer Serhat, Makhmur-Kirkuk YJA-Star state commander Raperin Gabar, Ferat Botan from the camp administration and the families attended the ceremony held in the camp.
WE WILL AVENGE OUR MARTYRS
In his speech in the ceremony, Makhmur-Kirkuk State Commander Bawer Serhat said: “We declare that we will never be silent in the face of the Turkish state martyring our comrades in such vile attacks,” and continued: “Yes, our esteemed comrades like Bedran have fallen martyr, but our enemy should know that no martyr of ours will go unavenged, and we promise in front of our people that we will certainly avenge our martyrs.”
CONDOLENCES TO LEADER APO
The families also spoke in the ceremony and said: “However vast our pain is, we will not crumble and we will not bow down to the fascist Turkish state. These are not our first martyrs, and they won’t be the last. We offer our condolences to Leader Apo and the Kurdish people. We will resist until the end.”
After the ceremony the deceased were buried in Makhmur cemetery alongside thousands of people chanting for revenge.
