Peoples’ Defense Central Command announced that its Martyr Azad Farqin unit used special techniques to down a Turkish F-16 warplane in Amed on December 12. HPG stated:

“Our Martyr Azad Farqin unit used special techniques to down a Turkish Air Force F-16 warplane, which had taken off from Amed 8th Main Jet Base Command to bombard Kurdistan, around 19:30 on December 12. Our unit carried out this action to commemorate Commander Azad Farqin and all other guerillas that have fallen as martyrs in Amed. Our unit returned to its base safely after its successful action.

As usual, the AKP government and war propaganda outlets have attempted to hide the truth and lie to the Turkish public as they claimed that the F-16 fell during a training flight.”
