According to the HPG, five soldiers of the Turkish invading forces were killed in guerrilla actions in Southern Kurdistan on Sunday while the Turkish army continues to commit war crimes with NATO support.

According to the People's Defence Forces (HPG), five soldiers of the Turkish army were killed in Southern Kurdistan (Northern Iraq) on Sunday. On the same day, the invading forces attacked guerrilla positions in the Medya Defence Zones five times with banned bombs, once with chemical weapons, seven times with fighter jets and dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.

"The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas have been fighting with great sacrifice since the first day of the occupation operation and are not letting the Turkish troops through. The army of the Republic of Turkey is attacking with the full support of NATO and sophisticated weapons technology and committing war crimes. Our forces, despite lacking capabilities, are responding with the most magnificent resistance in history and continue to deal effective blows to the occupiers through the masterful application of modern-day guerrilla tactics,” said the statement released by HPG Press Office on Monday.
