The HPG Press Centre has released a statement detailing the actions carried out by guerrillas within the scope of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign.

Here is the full text of the statemnet:

"Our guerrilla forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army soldiers positioned on Elişêr hill in Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova) district on September 4 at 17.30.

Two soldiers were killed in the action where enemy positions and shelters were struck effectively.

On September 4, at 08.30, our forces carried out a sabotage action against a Cobra-type armored vehicle on the road between Şundirê and Deştanê valley in Hakkari’s Çelê (Çukurca) district. In the action, the armored vehicle was completely destroyed and six soldiers were killed.

On August 31, around 03.30, our forces carried out an action against a disguised unit of the invading Turkish army in the countryside of Batman’s Kozluk district. Nine enemy soldiers were identified killed in this enemy unit put under intense fire in close range. Our comrade Argeş, who fought heroically during the action and was heavily wounded, denotated his bomb on himself in order to not be captured by the enemy forces. Following the heavy blows inflicted on the invading forces, the operations launched in Zengo, Heskê, Nû, Dêrşewa and Çayxan is still continuing.

On September 4, between 15.00 and 17.00, the warplanes of the invading Turkish army bombed the Medya Defence Zones.

In this context: Çemço area and slopes of Cehennem hill in the Zap region, the Aşutê valley and surroundings of Lolan area in the Xakurke region, and the Qesrokê area in the Haftanin region and the Bêtalan village in the Qandil region were bombed. After the bombardments fires broke out the wooded areas".

The invading Turkish army conducted air attacks with numerous warplanes, gaining no results and we have not had any losses in the bombardments. The invading Turkish state, which conducts psychological warfare against the public by means of the pool media, claims to have attacked our forces every day and obtained results, spreading the false news that they have produced results.
