HPG: Military activity continues increasingly

The statement said that an activity of Turkish warplanes took place over Xakurke border line between 14:30 – 15:00 on 27 April, and over Zap region at 1 am today.

Remarking that aerial activity of the Turkish army over guerrilla areas was increasing, HPG listed the following detailed information regarding the locations where Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles performed reconnaissance flights on 27 April;

- Oramar area in Yüksekova district of Hakkari between 07:00 – 10:00

- Avashin area between 05:00 – 18:00

- Gare area between 13:00 - 15:00

- Metina area and borderline between 21:00 – 00:00

- Kuro Jaro and Şkefta Bîrîndara areas in Zap region between 14:30 - 15:30

- the area between Metina and Zap between 16:00 – 19:00

- Nordizê, Gelîyê Bizîzê and Gelîyê Êzdînan areas between Çatak and Gürpınar districts of Van between 07:00 – 22:00.

HPG further reported that Turkish troops deployed at Êrîş military post at the border to Zap carried out a bombardment on surrounding areas between 10:30 – 15:30 on 27 April.

The statement added that Turkish soldiers laid ambushes in the area between the villages of Bilbes and Goaniş in Şırnak's Beytüşşebap district between 16:00 21 April and 05:00 on 22th.
