Guerrilla forces continue their actions against the Turkish army in Kurdistan territory.
People’s Defense Forces Press Centre (HPG-BIM) reported that guerrillas targeted the Turkish army in three separate areas on June 15 within the scope of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign.
The statement by HPG is as follows;
“Within the scope of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign, on June 15, our forces carried out a series of actions against the invading Turkish army. The details of the actions carried out by our forces within this scope are as following;
At 08.30, our forces carried out an action against the invaders positioned on the Lêlîkan hill in the Bradost region of Sidakan in Southern Kurdistan. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action where the enemy’s positions were effectively hit could not be determined. On the same day, at 16.30, our forces targeted the invading soldiers on the hill for a second time. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action where the enemy’s positions were put under intense fire could not be determined.
At 13.00, our forces once again carried out an assassination action against the soldiers positioned on the Ali Direj valley in the Bradost region in the Sidakan area. One enemy soldier was killed in this action.
At 19.00, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army positioned on the Haruna hill in Hakkari's Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district. The number of dead and wounded enemies in this action where the positions and shelters on the enemy hill were effectively hit could not be determined.
On June 15, from 20.00 to 21.00 hours, warplanes belonging to the occupying Turkish army bombed the Şehidin valley in the Qandil region of the Medya Defence Zones. We have had no guerrilla losses in these bombardments. The claims reflected in AKP media that we have had three guerrilla losses in these attacks are false and special war propaganda. Our people and mindful circles should not believe these kinds of news.”
