Footage of the action conducted by HPG guerrillas on the Gendarmerie Command in Amed's Dicle district on May 1, has been broadcast by Gerilla TV.

In a statement detailing the action yesterday, HPG said the expansive action against Turkish targets in Amed's Dicle district was carried out within the scope of the Martyr Xemgin Koçer and Nucan Malatya Revolutionary Offensive launched by guerrilla forces. Accordingly, there were a total of 180 soldiers in the Gendarmerie Command at the time of the guerrilla action which left 47 soldiers dead and 78 others wounded, including 12 seriously.
