HPG-BIM reported in a written statement that they released the footage to provide a clearer view of the ongoing battle with military forces of the Turkish state that tried to hide the truth on the results of actions of guerrillas.

HPG pointed out that guerrillas carried out an sabotage and ambush action targeting a Turkish military convoy between Şehidan and Hill Lezgin hills on the border of Şırnak's Uludere district at 08:30 on June 16.

Accordingly, one Reo type vehicle and an armored vehicle in the convoy were damaged as a result of the action which left 5 soldiers dead.

Guerrillas later hit the soldiers that came to the scene for intervention after the action, as a result of which 2 more soldiers died.

Turkish forces shelled the area with howitzers, mortars and tanks in the wake of the action which was dedicated to fallen guerrillas Viyan Bahoz and Herekol Sıperti.
