The Turkish army has carried out 37 attacks with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons on guerrilla areas in southern Kurdistan in the past two days.
The press centre of the People's Defence Forces (HPG) has issued a statement on the recent attacks of the Turkish army in the Medya Defence Zones in Southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).
According to the statement, the occupation forces carried out a total of 37 artillery attacks on 31 March and 1 April. Howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons were used in the attacks targeting the area around the village of Şeşmal in Metîna as well as guerrilla positions in Çemço and Sîda in the Zap region.
