The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG-BIM) reported continued guerrilla actions against the invading Turkish army in Kurdistan territory.
The statement by HPG-BIM said the following;
“Within the scope of the Martyr Piroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign, our guerrilla forces carried out an action against the occupying Turkish army positioned on the Lêlîkan hill in the Bradost region of Sidakan within the territory of Southern Kurdistan on July 3 at 18.00.
The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be clarified in the action where enemy positions and shelters were effectively struck.
On July 3, between 14.00 and 14.30, the warplanes of the occupying Turkish army bombed the area of Basya in Hakkari's Şemzînan (Semdinli) district. On the same day, at 23.50 hours, the warplanes bombarded the Aris-Farıs valley of Avashin region in the Medya Defence Zones. We have not had any guerrilla losses in these air attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army.”
