People's Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office issued a written statement and shared details on guerrilla actions against Turkish soldiers in Bingöl, and on aerial bombardments of the Turkish army on Dersim and Şırnak.

The HPG statement which was published on the official website, disclosed the following details:

EXTENSIVE ACTIONS IN THE ZAGROS MOUNTAIN RANGE

"Within the scope of the Revolutionary Initiative of Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş, our forces continued to carry out extensive actions against soldiers of the occupying Turkish army in Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova), Şemzînan (Şemdinli) and Çelê (Çukurca) districts.

TWO ENEMY EMPLACEMENTS DESTROYED IN ŞEMZINAN

At 04.30 on July 28, our forces carried out an action against soldiers of the Turkish army positioned in emplacements on hill Sisê in Semzinan. Two outposts were destroyed completely but details could not be obtained here regarding the killed and injured Turkish soldiers.

5 SOLDIERS KILLED IN GEVER

At 10.30 on July 28, our forces carried out an action against Turkish soldiers stationed on hill Baye in Gever's Çarçella region. In this action which targeted the soldiers on the hill from two flanks, one tent was destroyed and damage was inflicted on an A4 heavy weaponry emplacement. As far as could be determined, 5 Turkish soldiers were killed in the action, after which the Turkish army shelled the area with howitzers and mortars.

ACTION ON HILL KOORDINE

At 10.00 on July 28, our forces targeted soldiers of the Turkish army that were positioned on hill Koordine in the region of Çukurca and hit them with heavy weaponry. Clear details concerning the casualties of the Turkish army could not be obtained.

After the action, the Turkish army shelled the region with howitzers and mortars.

ACTION IN BİNGÖL

At 21.30 on July 28, in the scope of the Revolutionary Initiative of Martyr Azad Farqin and Jinda Özgür, our forces carried out an action on the Saxanıs outpost in the region of Bingöl's Karlıova district.

In the action which targeted the watchtowers of the outpost simultaneously from two flanks, clear details could not be obtained on the killed and injured soldiers of the enemy. Following the action, the invading Turkish army shelled the area indiscriminately.

AERIAL BOMBARDMENTS IN ŞIRNAK AND DERSİM

Amid the permanent frustrations of their operations and aggressions in the face of the resistance mounted by the guerrillas, the Turkish army directs their aerial bombardments to the civilian settlements.

In this scope, on July 28, the Turkish army conducted airstrikes with Cobra-type helicopters on the areas of Hevşederê, Astenga Masiro and Tehtereşê in the region of Şırnak's Beytüşşebap district and surroundings of the village of Keleş. One vehicle belonging to the villagers was destroyed in the bombardments, and fire broke out on the fields.

In the early hours of the same day and also in the evening at 21.00-21.30, the occupying forces shelled with Cobra-type helicopters the area of Serıkê Mıhemedê Osê in Sirnak's Besta region.

At 21.00 on July 28, the occupying Turkish army conducted airstrikes with Cobra-type helicopters on the surroundings of Zargê village in Dersim."
