The Press Centre of the People's Defence Forces (HPG) reported on Saturday that the Turkish army attacked a guerrilla position in the Çemço area in the Zap region with a prohibited bomb on 27 January. In the vicinity of the nearby village of Sîda in the district of Sheladize, the Turkish occupation forces continue to try to demolish guerrilla positions with construction machinery.
The HPG Press Centre also reported a total of seven airstrikes by fighter jets on the Lolan shore in Xakurke and the Deşta Kafya area in Gare on 26 and 27 January, as well as dozens of other attacks with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons on the Girê Şehid Kamûran and Geliyê Lolan areas in Xakurke and on guerrilla positions in Çemço and Sîda.
