HPG reports ongoing Turkish attacks with chemical weapons

The Turkish army has once again used prohibited combat agents against guerrilla positions in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).
According to the daily statement of the People's Defence Forces (HPG) Press Centre, the Turkish army continues its attacks with chemical weapons on the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones positions in southern Kurdistan.
According to the HPG statement, the invading army shelled the guerrilla positions with chemical weapons 12 times, with banned bombs 2 times and with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons dozens of times.
The attacks with chemical weapons and banned bombs were directed against the guerrilla positions in Çemço and near the village of Sîda in Amadiya countryside on January 23.
On the same day, the guerrilla positions near Çemço as well as the Girê Cûdî and Girê FM resistance areas were attacked with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons dozens of times.
