HPG reports Turkish aerial bombardment in Silvan

People's Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office reported that Turkish jets and helicopters bombed the surroundings of Şelima village in Amed's Silvan district.

People's Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office reported that Turkish jets and helicopters bombed the surroundings of Şelima village in Amed's Silvan district.

The statement recalled that a curfew has just been imposed on Şêlima, Hindisê, Cumatê, Şaxo, Sêdeqnê, Goma Sêdeqnê, Fişatê, Goma Fişatê and Mala Gir villages of Amed's Silvan district yesterday evening.

According to the HPG statement, the village of Şelima and surroundings were shelled by Turkish jets at 19:00 Thursday evening. The same area was bombed by Turkish helicopters at 21:00 yesterday evening and between 07.30 - 09.00 this morning.

HPG said Turkish warplanes also bombarded the area of Gundê Filleha in Zap region of PKK-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory between 13:30 an 14:00 yesterday.
