HPG: Resistance against Turkish invasion continues unabated

The guerrillas continue to resist the Turkish invasion of Southern Kurdistan with actions of sabotage, heavy weapons and snipers as well as hand-to-hand combat. Seven soldiers of the occupation forces were killed in the latest actions by guerrillas.

In its daily statement about the war in guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq), the press centre of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) reported that the guerrillas continued their resistance against the invasion of the Turkish colonial state without interruption.
