HPG: Several Turkish soldiers killed in Agri

According to the information provided by HPG’s Press and Communication Centre, a large number of Turkish soldiers were killed in clashes between HPG guerrillas and Turkish army in Agri.
The clashes started after Turkish army launched a military operation against Kurdish guerrillas in Demirkapi area of Dogubeyazid, a district of Agri province on September 27. The guerrillas killed several soldiers the same day.
HPG says that guerrillas took possession of bodies of killed Turkish soldiers in the area.
HPG also stated that for three days HPG guerrillas control the area and Turkish army units cannot retreat because of effective guerrilla actions.
HPG said the exact number of killed soldiers will be released as the information is received from local units.
ONE SOLDIER KILLED IN SIRNAK
HPG guerrillas also killed one Turkish soldier in Gabar mountain in rural Sirnak.
The guerrillas hit Gire Cotyar military outpost yesterday. HPG says at least one Turkish soldiers were killed.
