People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office released a written statement and said that guerrillas carried out an action targeting the positions of the Turkish army on Koordine Hill in the countryside of Hakkari’s Cukurca district at 11:30 on February 6.

Effective strikes by guerrillas left six soldiers of the Turkish army dead.

After the action, Turkish forces retrieved the dead and wounded soldiers from the scene with Sikorsky helicopters.
