The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG) released a statement providing information about the ongoing war in Kurdistan territory.

3 SOLDIERS KILLED ON KOORDINE HILL

According to the HPG statement, guerrillas hit the Turkish military units stationed on Koordine Hill in the countryside of Hakkari’s Çukurca district at 16:30 on October 28. Effective strikes by guerrillas targeted the positions of the soldiers, destroying one of them and leaving three soldiers dead. Following the action by guerrillas, the Turkish army carried out a random bombardment on the area with howitzer and mortar fire.

ONE GUERRILLA MARTYRED BY AIRSTRIKE

HPG reported that Turkish warplanes bombarded the surroundings of Xakurkê River in Medya Defense Zones at 07:10 on October 28.

Another aerial raid by the Turkish army targeted the Hesena Valley in Avashin region at between 17:00-18:00 the same day. A guerrilla by the name of Kurtay Nusaybin fell a martyr as a result of this bombardment.
