HPG: Two Turkish soldiers killed in Heftanin

In Heftanin, two soldiers of the Turkish army were killed by guerrillas. Meanwhile, the Turkish Air Force has bombed several areas in Southern Kurdistan.

The Press Centre of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) has issued a statement on a guerrilla actions and the latest air attacks of the Turkish army on the Medya Defense Zones in Southern Kurdistan.

According to the statement, two soldiers were shot dead on Hill Dupişk on October 6 as part of the resistance against the Turkish occupation of the Heftanin region.

Several air attacks took place on the same day. In Metina region, the surroundings of the Beşili village in the town of Bamerne were bombed by Turkish fighter jets. In the Zap region, air strikes lasting for hours targeted the Gundê Fila area, and the Çemço area was bombed in the evening. An air strike in Gare on the village of Hermuz in the Deşta Kafya area caused damage to homes of the local people.
