HPG: We are ready to deliver body of soldier named Naci Kaygısız to his family

The HPG addressed the family of the Turkish soldier named Naci Kaygısız and said: "We can deliver the body of their son through civilians if they request it."

The HPG Press Liaison Center issued a written statement regarding the Turkish soldier whose body remains in their hands.

The HPG stated: "As we said in our statement dated 21 June 2022, Hulusi Akar and Tayyip Erdoğan are using the soldiers they have deployed in guerrilla areas only to protect their own power. They hide the deaths of soldiers because they do not care about them. They don’t tell the people about these deaths, with great hypocrisy. All the people of Kurdistan, the people of Turkey and the international community should know that the Turkish army hides the blows it received and the deaths of soldiers. It leaves the bodies of many soldiers on the field to rot and does not even give their bodies to their families.”

The HPG added that in a previous statement dated 7 July 2022 they wrote: “On 7 July at 8.15am, we shared the information that 2 Turkish soldiers who wanted to advance towards the Girê Martyr Pîrdoxan battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were killed and that the body of one soldier was in the hands of our forces.

It has been clarified that the name of the soldier who died on 7 July 2022 and whose body is in the hands of our forces is Naci Kaygısız. It was understood that this soldier was a member of the Turkish special forces and his death was hidden from the public. As we have shared with the public before, those who sent these soldiers to invade Kurdistan do not claim the bodies of their own soldiers. That's why we call on the family of the Turkish soldier named Naci Kaygısız and state that we can deliver the body of their son through civilians if they demand so. Kaygısız family can come to the Amiya district of Duhok province in South Kurdistan and contact us through the civilians in the region."
