HPG Central Headquarters Command saluted "the resistance mounted by YPS forces with a great spirit of resistance and high military performance against the attacks of the enemy in Şırnak and Nusaybin".
HPG (People's Defense Forces) Central Headquarters Command has released a statement saying “We salute the resistance mounted by YPS (Civil Defense Units) forces with a great spirit of resistance and high military performance against the attacks of the enemy in Şırnak and Nusaybin”.
HPG also saluted the YPS General Coordination, Şırnak and Nusaybin Commands for the resistance they mounted in the cities of Kurdistan and the success they have achieved against Turkish forces, which -it said- increasingly inspired the guerrilla forces, Kurdish people and their political friends.
"We want you to know that you are not alone and as the Kurdish movement all our forces and people are by your side", said the HPG addressing to the YPS, and cited the expansive guerrilla actions carried out in Pîran, Şemzînan, Xapûşkê and Derik-Üçyol within the last 2 days as the most concrete examples in this regard.
HPG ended its statement, saying; "It is clear that forces of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement will not leave any massacre perpetrated by the fascist colonialism unanswered, and will act with commitment to the end in the defense of their people's self values."
