The Human Shield action launched against the Turkish state’s invasion attacks in Southern Kurdistan in Qandil by the youth continues on day 19.

Residents of Qandil’s Meredo area visited the Human Shield activists today and gave messages against the invasion.

Wîlyen Berzencî greeted the people from Meredo and gave a speech in the name of the Human Shield activists. Berzencî said the reason they are in Qandil is because the gains made by Kurdistan are threatened. Berzencî added that the whole landscape is under invasion attacks and the threats of attacks against Qandil actually target all gains made by the whole of Kurdistan.

Wîlyen Berzencî continued and called on Kurdistan people to stand with the Freedom Guerilla everywhere, from Qandil to Sine, Mahabad to Süleymaniye and Hewler, Serhat to Qamishlo.

Soran Alî spoke after Human Shield activist Wîlyen Berzencî in the name of Meredo youth and people, and pointed to the Turkish state's invasion atacks. Soran said: “These attacks against Qandil are not only against Qandil or the PKK, they are invasion attacks that target the whole of Kurdistan. We as the people of the South are calling on the Turkish state: We are here! Like we didn’t accept your financial invasion and launched a boycott, we won’t accept your military invasion. We will fight nonstop until the invasion is ended.”
