The human shield action launched in Qandil with the slogan “Rise Up Against the Invasion” led by the Patriotic Youth Movement and the Combatant Young Women has completed one month.

In the last thirty days, thousands of people visited the demonstration from provinces of Southern Kurdistan for support. The human shield demonstration was backed by many groups in society.

An event was held to mark the first month in the action. The youth held a press conference after the activities in Qandil.

Serhildan Bamerdi read the statement and said: “The human shield demonstration we launched one month ago continues with all the enthusiasm. We had many visitors this month as the Bashur youth with the slogan Reject the Invasion. We will continue our resistance.”
