Hundreds of civilians rescued in Manbij

Manbij Military Council fighters have rescued hundreds of civilians held captive by ISIS gangs in Manbij city center.

The operation to liberate Manbij continues at full force in its 72nd day.

Manbij Military Council fighters have rescued hundreds of civilians held captive by ISIS gangs in Manbij city center. The civilians were freed in the wake of violent clashes in Al-Sirib neighborhood and Jarablus road to the east and north of the city. They were later transferred to safe areas.

The ISIS gangs encircled in Manbij city center are using civilians as human shields. Manbij Military Council announced recently that they are acting with utmost caution in consideration of the civilians in ISIS-held areas.
