Hunger strike in Maxmur Camp reaches day 8

The hunger strike led by the Ishtar Women's Council in Maxmur to protest the isolation implemented in Imrali isolation has reached day 8.

While the hunger strike carried out by political prisoners in Turkish and Kurdish prisons to demand the end of the isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan, the hunger strike led by the Ishtar Women’s Council in the Martyr Rüstem Cudi Refugee Camp to claim the prisoners' action entered its 8th day.

The 4th hunger strikers group consisting of members of Maxmur Young Women Movement is expected to hand over the hunger strike to the institution representatives of the camp tomorrow, Saturday.
