The HPG Press Center released a statement disclosing the identity of two guerrillas who fell as martyrs in Cîlo and Zap.

The statement said: “Between 28 March and 7 April 2023, the invading Turkish state launched operations against our forces in Cîlo, and violent clashes took place between our forces and the invaders. In the statement we made on 11 April 2023, we stated that our comrades Raperîn, Rêvan and Botan fell as martyrs, and one was captured by the enemy."

The statement continued: "Comrade Alîşêr İntikam, a member of the Cîlo State Command, who dealt heavy blows to the enemy during the violent clashes, survived and remained alone in the operation area for days. The invading Turkish army has mobilized its war and reconnaissance planes, helicopters and hundreds of forces only for our comrade. Even if our comrade Alîşer remained alone, he challenged the enemy with great courage. On 7 April 2023, clashes broke out between our valiant commander, Comrade Alîşêr and the invaders."

The HPG added: "Our comrade Alîşer gave the necessary answer to the enemy and fell a martyr after resisting selflessly until his last breath. Comrade Alîşêr, who has been a guerrilla in many areas of the Zagros for many years, has succeeded in becoming a leading commander with his successful practice.

We extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the family of Comrade Alîşêr."

Our comrade Qehreman, who joined the ranks of the struggle with his deep love for our country, Kurdistan, and aimed to fulfil his responsibilities towards our people and martyrs in the entire revolutionary march, became an exemplary militant."
